Our new Minneapolis Home!
Its finally feeling like Minnesota summer, and here at Urban Nest Redesign we have worked on completing an exciting new creative dream we have had for a very long time…Our new and magical art studio space!! After years of pinning ideas from Pinterest, and dreaming big about inspiring spaces, we have moved our business into its own Urban Nest at Holland Arts West in NE Mpls. It’s a creative space where we can grow our business, and it’s a welcoming place to invite our clients and friends to come and be inspired as well! Originally a Polish Elementary school in the early 1900’s, the building has the high ceilings and character that allow for the space and light we were searching for over the past year. It’s absolutely magical!
Chelsae, in all her muralist glory, painted a stunning, oversized mural of colorful poppies in bloom! Perhaps you came in to say hello during this year’s NE Art-A-Whirl event?! If not, you absolutely must stop in and see it! Give us a call and we will make a date to have you come and sit on our comfy couch. As Chelsae works on her canvas art, Ali is designing a line of pillows that come from lovely, sustainable fabrics, sourced from many different places. The pillow line will be made of luxurious velvets in every color to fit your design aesthetic. In addition, we are bursting with creative ideas and tried our hand at beautiful silk hand painted dresses. You’re probably wondering why our redesign company is spending time creating things for you to purchase?...
Well, the answer is we participated in our first ever ART-A-WHIRL!!! We are members of the Northeast Minneapolis Arts Association, and with that membership and our new studio, we were privileged to have the opportunity to participate in the largest open art studio tour in the nation!! We are so grateful for those of you who stopped in to say hello and purchase art from us. There were literally hundreds of people who came in and chatted with us during the three-day event. Minneapolis is such an incredible community! We are a very creative team and merely being in our sunny space inspires the artists in both of us. If you want to come in and inspire your own inner artist just let us know…you are always welcome!
We are painting, muraling and designing in homes and offices all over the Twin Cities and beyond. We just completed jobs in Cambridge and Rush City too! We have so much new creativity to share with you, and as always, would love to talk if you are in need of our expert painting and redesign services. Referrals are welcome always.
